This took forever! *cries*

_{Two weeks ago I went to the beach with ~kay-kay96 and we went swimming in the sea and lay in our bikinis ^^ It was such a lovely sunny day! It inspired me to draw a beach scene! I started to sketch it two weeks ago then didn't bother with it for a while. Then I decided to actually make a picture from the sketch! ^^}

I agree with what others have written in critique. The only thing needing some attention in this pic is the swimsuit. The design of it is just fine; it should be an appealing cut on a figure such as this girl's. The contours of the girl's body are excellent all over except where covered by the swimsuit, where the shape seems to disappear, as though the swimsuit were just a flat coverup. There is no shading between her legs. The sides of the bottom do not follow the curve of her hips. (Also the curves of her lower abdomen look a bit too wide.) The top seems too wide and too low given the size and shape of her bust. Even going round the back of her neck it seems to lose something.

I know you did not intend for the background to be too detailed; and so it's fine. The colours are excellent, even those of the swimsuit. The ice cream is not too bad (could have some texture in the cone though). The towel could look a bit more like terry or velour. The girl's expression is very pleasant and her eyes make her look very cute. Overall you have an excellent effort here, the more for its being digital; but I believe some closer scrutiny to how the swimsuit seems to fit her would be of vast improvement.

I'll just be honest and cut to the chase. Your choice of colors was perfect. The shading is done almost perfect. Only spot you I saw was on her stomach. Her hands look off VERY slightly, but now big deal, since hands can be a bit tricky. The sky is background almost looks like is was taken straight from an old photograph. The colors flow perfectly with the picture. I really like the eyes. Overall, I think its an absolutely stunning piece. Its infinitely better than anything I could ever make through digital art. You should be proud of this piece. You did an excellent job.
